The theme of this event was unity, communication, collaboration and innovation. The students were introduced to each other and grouped together randomly, through such games as Solitaire Painting and Guessing Words, 24 Points Games, Whether or Not Games, etc., so as to quickly enhance communication and get to know each other, and enhance the team ability, cultivate team spirit, and have positive impact upon everyone’s future life.

The morning of June 26 2019, Startup Discussion

On the morning of June 26, 2019, international students visited the Dream Town. Students first visited dream town to understand the development process of the town. They attended startup discussion in Wanxi Accelerator Business Incubation Base. The forum was chaired by Ms. Zhang Jie, co-founder of Getui, a listed company. Ms. Zhang introduced the whole process of Getui from establishment to listing, and introduced the original intention and mission of establishing Wanxi Accelerator. Mr. Liu Yu, senior vice president of Getui, introduced his journey from a senior manager of a foreign enterprise to an entrepreneurial company of Getui. Mr. Lu Jian, general manager of Hangzhou Guangyuan Innovation Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the latest products of the company and shared his experience from a senior manager of a foreign enterprise to the establishment of a start-up enterprise. During this period, overseas students and speakers had a heated discussion on the legal procedures, bonus collection, business ethics and social responsibility of entrepreneurship between China and the United States.



The afternoon of June 26 2019, Lecture of Chinese Tea Culture

On the afternoon of June 29, 2018, two teachers, Shi Huiling and Luo Zhou, introduced Chinese tea culture to overseas students and performed a tea ceremony on site.

It was Ms. Shi Huiling who firstly introduced the origin of Chinese tea culture, tea production, drinking methods and the basic manners of honoring tea, brewing tea and tasting tea, and then introduced the differences between Chinese tea culture and tea culture in Europe, Japan, South Korea and other countries.


Then Ms. Luo Zhou performed a live tea ceremony with elegant movements for the international students, and introduced them in detail to the main steps of making tea and brewing tea. Under the guidance of the two teachers, students tried and experienced the whole process of making tea. After half a day's practice, many students came to perform tea ceremony on stage. Through this course, international students experienced the pleasure of making tea, brewing tea and tasting tea, and realized the elegance, freedom and profoundness of Chinese tea culture.
